We love stories. here’s ours…

In the early 20th century, the streetcars of Los Angeles’ Yellow Car line entered Huron Substation to have their electrical current changed to a higher voltage. Over a hundred years later, under the leadership of actor/director Alden Ehrenreich and writer/producer Julie Cohn, Huron Station Playhouse serves the same purpose - this time re-energizing artists and audiences through the power of live theater.

But, Huron Station Playhouse celebrates our shared humanity through more than just a theater. With readings, classes, concerts and more, it is an artistic hub that seeks to deepen community engagement.

At its core, Huron is a watering hole and home for artists and audiences to gather, challenge each other, and grow as a collective - providing the world with deeper, more humane work that can enrich our lives for generations to come.
